11.0 release 129

New version 11.0 release 129 adds support for JPEG2000 format read/write. ESPA Systems ECW extension is required only for ECW file support.

Version is available both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. 

ESPA Systems Software 64-bit version

ESPA Systems Software is now available with 64-bit version. 64-bit version provides faster computation and better memory handling.

64-bit version requires a network license. It checks the license periodically from remote server so the internet access is required. To use network license you need also a license number from ESPA Systems Oy.

EspaGate API 11.0

EspaGate API 11.0 is now available for registered developers. It includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of EspaGate API.

Now you can include EspaGate API functionality to your own project easier. Earlier EspaGate API versions required HASP-key for development. That made the distribution of the developers software challenging when EspaGate API support was built in. 

New ESPA Systems Software version 11.0 release 18 introduces EspaEngine Height Server.

It can be used to update existing vector data (EspaCity) using DEM(s) computed /stored in EspaEngine. EspaGate can be connected to other software via EspaGate at same time. 

This feature makes it easy and safe to interactively update the existing 2D/3D vector data in with lidar point height data. User can check and correct (if needed) the results instantly using EspaCity stereoscopic capabilities.

In the updating process all vector identities are kept safe.

The optional "densify" functionality quarantees that the updated vector data will follow the existing elevation model. It also guards the original vertices of the vectors (some area based functionality in GIS software may require that).

ECW/JPEG2000 Support

New ESPA Systems ECW/JPEG2000 Extension supports ECW/JPEG2000 file formats (read only). 

Extension is compatible with ESPA Systems Software version 11 (release 8) or later. Both are available at support pages.

ESPA Systems Software 11.0 released

ESPA Systems Software 11.0 supports Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems.

Downloadable content includes separate installation packages:

• A3 Sensor extension

ESPA Systems Software 11.0 is not compatible with Windows XP operating system.
