New ESPA Systems Software version 11.0 release 18 introduces EspaEngine Height Server.
It can be used to update existing vector data (EspaCity) using DEM(s) computed /stored in EspaEngine. EspaGate can be connected to other software via EspaGate at same time.
This feature makes it easy and safe to interactively update the existing 2D/3D vector data in with lidar point height data. User can check and correct (if needed) the results instantly using EspaCity stereoscopic capabilities.
In the updating process all vector identities are kept safe.
The optional "densify" functionality quarantees that the updated vector data will follow the existing elevation model. It also guards the original vertices of the vectors (some area based functionality in GIS software may require that).
